Today’s older adults expect a broad range of programs, services and educational opportunities. Primeplus Senior Center (formerly Norfolk Senior Center) classes and activities are designed to be responsive to the needs of the community and will change as the community changes, maintaining a focus on quality, cooperation and coordination.

AARP NORFOLK SENIOR GROUP MEETING
4th Thursday of each month 10:30 a.m.

Every month this group will bring you the latest information from AARP and your state legislators. Enjoy coffee, snacks and lots of camaraderie.

COMPUTER LEARNING CENTER
COORDINATING COUNCIL
2nd Friday of each month 10:45 a.m.

Are you computer savvy, and would like to help teach others? Help this council of volunteers plan future course curriculum and prepare class schedules for the computer learning center.

GENEALOGY GROUP
3rd and 4th Tuesday of each month
1:00 p.m.

Come share your search for your family heritage/lineage with others. This group meets every month to hear guest speakers and others give out useful hints that would help anyone on researching his or her family heritage/lineage.

SAVVY SINGLES
3rd Wednesday of each month 11:30 a.m.

If you’re young at heart with some good ideas and love fun, come join this group at their regular monthly meetings. You do not have to be single to join in on their trips.
 
 




SENIOR CENTER ADVISORY COUNCIL
2nd Friday of each month 9:30 a.m.

The council consists of representatives who participate in different program areas at the center. Share ideas, get input on program developments and upcoming events.

SMART MONEY INVESTMENT CLUB
2nd Wednesday of each month
10:00 a.m.

Members discuss market trends, investigate and report on companies with investment opportunities, and discuss strategies. The group is looking for new members and welcomes visitors who are interested in membership.

THE MAYOR’S COMMISSION FOR
PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
3rd Thursday of each month 2:00 p.m.
